Immigration Evaluations

At Limelight Recovery Foundation, our goal is to support you with respect, compassion, and expertise. We offer evaluations that are designed to help strengthen your immigration or court-related case, while treating your story and your health with the dignity they deserve.

Immigration Psychological Evaluations

You may be asking yourself: Will I be able to stay in the United States? Will I be separated from my family? How will I prove what I’ve gone through? If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or unsure about what’s next, know this: you’re not alone — and getting a psychological evaluation could help.

What Is a Psychological Evaluation?

A psychological evaluation is a detailed assessment conducted by a licensed mental health professional. It documents how your past experiences, trauma, or stress are affecting your mental and emotional health. We collect information about your life history, current symptoms, and coping strategies. Then, we prepare a court-ready report for your attorney — one that can make a real difference in your immigration case.

Why You Might Need One

People seek immigration psychological evaluations for a variety of reasons, including:

  • Extreme hardship: To show how separation from family or deportation could affect your emotional, physical, or financial well-being.

  • Asylum cases: Due to trauma, persecution, or fear in your home country.

  • VAWA cases: Evidence of emotional damage or trauma in cases of abuse or violence in a marriage.

  • U-Visa or T-Visa cases: Victims of crime or trafficking need evaluations to demonstrate the impact of these experiences.

  • Cancellation of removal or other petitions: Tailored documentation for your attorney and USCIS.

We work with attorneys nationwide to translate your personal experiences into professional, clinical language that courts and USCIS can understand. Our clinicians have a proven track record of helping clients tell their stories effectively.

Language & Cultural Support

  • Whether you speak Spanish, another language, or need an interpreter, we ensure you are fully supported and understood.

Cost & Payment Options
